The capital city of Gipuzkoa has a strategic location: facing the Bay of Biscay and settled around the unforgettable La Concha Bay. In addition, San Sebastian has respected the environmental setting, taking care of its beaches and parks. La Concha Bay allows practising all kind of water sports, enjoying the different entertainments organised on it, or simply exercising through its 7 kilometres from the iron sculpture ‘The Wind Comb’, by E. Chillida, skirting the beaches of Ondarreta and La Concha, to the Zurriola Beach.
But this city is also the birthplace of Basque haute cuisine, with restaurants dotting the city and its surroundings: the highest concentration of Michelin stars.
