ICOE 2022 – The International Ocean Energy Conference

The International Conference on Ocean Energy, ICOE, is an event of Ocean Energy Systems, an organisation of the International Energy Agency, which they develop in collaboration with a local organisation that promotes their candidacy. It is the leading international conference on ocean energy and focuses on the industrial development of marine renewable energy.

The ICOE 2022 edition will be organised by the Energy Cluster Association with the support of BiMEP (Biscay Marine Energy Platform, a platform that includes the Mutriku wave power plant and the Armintza offshore test bed) and TECNALIA. This alliance, which has the support of the Donostia City Council, represents the entities that have promoted the Basque candidacy. More than 900 participants from 30 countries are expected to attend the next edition.
