The International Conference on Ocean Energy brought together ocean energy professionals and decision-makers from all over the world at the Kursaal.
The ICOE congress and international fair welcomed more than 600 delegates and companies from the sector from all over the world. The choice of Donostia as the venue for ICOE 2022 underlines the importance of the initiatives being developed in the Basque Country in the field of marine energy. Specifically, the public initiative, through the Basque Energy Agency, has launched two benchmark projects in Mutriku (Gipuzkoa) and Armintza (Lemoiz, Bizkaia), hence the event's organising committee's recognition of the Basque trajectory and potential for technological development.
